This summit brings together researchers, educators, students, and advocates to explore how we advance inclusion in STEM—not as individuals working in isolation, but as a community charting the waters together. Whether you're navigating student support, building more inclusive classrooms, conducting cutting-edge research or bridging the gap between policy and practice, there's a place for you here
What to Expect
Morning sessions: learn and connect
Start your day with lightning talks and table talks from faculty, researchers, and student leaders. Hear about current initiatives, emerging research, and strategies that are working in real time. Network with colleagues, share ideas and find your people.
Open poster session
Present your research, teaching strategies, or initiative—or explore the work of others. Whether you're early-stage or established, the poster session is your space for feedback, collaboration and connection.
Afternoon: Working Groups
Choose your path and go deeper. Five distinct working group tracks meet the community where they are:
Student advising
Resources and strategies for supporting student success in STEM
Graduate students
Building community and addressing challenges at the graduate level
Undergraduate students
Led by students, for students—content and resources built by your peers
Faculty and staff supporting students
Best practices and innovations in student-centered teaching and mentorship
Faculty research
Exploring research initiatives and teaching approaches centered on inclusion

Present
Do you have research, a teaching strategy, an initiative, or a project you'd like to share? We invite faculty, staff, and students to present during the lightning or table talks or at the open poster session. Lightning and table talks are 10-15 minutes and the poster session will run for 45 minutes.

Collaborate
Are you a student leader or member of a STEM organization? We're partnering with student clubs to co-create the student portions of this summit—building content and resources by students, for students. If you're interested in leading a working group, co-facilitating a table talk, or shaping the student experience, please reach out to Nicole Macias, [email protected].
