RISE Ambassadors Program

The RISE Ambassador program is for undergraduate students who want to get involved with identifying and improving inclusion issues at ASU.

Who are we?

This student-led initiative, guided by Dr. Sara Brownell, empowers you to pursue meaningful projects rooted in your personal interests, with dedicated support and resources from the RISE Center. As a RISE Ambassador, you'll help identify areas for improvement in undergraduate education and contribute to positive change through policy, messaging, and outreach efforts directed at students, staff, and instructors.

Ambassadors learn skills in:

  • Communication

  • Professional Development

  • Critical Thinking

Responsibilities include designing a personal passion project, participating in outreach events, reading and discussing scientific papers, and attending weekly meeting with fellow ambassadors. Ambassadors create interest-driven resources that strengthen community connections and enhance support across ASU’s diverse populations.
