Resource Development Team

The Resource Development team is creating tools that empower researchers to better study and understand Gen Z students in the classroom.

What resources do researchers need to study Gen Z learning?

The Resource Development Team works to develop practical research tools that help discipline-based education researchers examine how Gen Z students learn, participate, and experience undergraduate science courses. By building and refining resources that support participant recruitment, the team enables large-scale investigations of student experiences across the country.

Beyond tool creation, the team identifies ways to streamline research workflows, improves access to information researchers need to conduct classroom-based studies, and develops guides that make these tools easy for others to use. Their work supports the success of future education research by ensuring that scholars have the infrastructure required to study Gen Z learners in methodologically rigorous ways.

Through this collaboration, undergraduate team members contribute to research efforts that shape how educators understand and support the next generation of college students.
