Dr. Riley Pizza (they/them) is a Postdoctoral researcher working with Dr. Brownell. Riley earned their PhD in Plant Biology at Michigan State University, but was inspired to pursue education research after reading research coming out of the RISE group. Riley works on projects to better understand the experiences of students with disabilities in STEM courses with the goal of ultimately ensuring all students are provided with equitable learning opportunities.
