Megan Barker is a Senior Lecturer at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada. She was a distinguished visiting scholar at ASU in October and November of 2022 and used her background in creating an inclusive biology curriculum to bring valuable insight to the RISE Center's lab discussions and research. Megan also gave a presentation as part of the Research, Reflect, and RISE workshops about how to help foster community, confidence, and growth mindset in teaching assistants.
