Hakop was born in Pasadena, California to Armenian immigrants. He is a first generation student majoring in biology with an emphasis in pre-med. His interests include art, manga, and video games. Most importantly his research interests focus on reducing the feelings of depression, anxiety, and imposter syndrome in biology majors, how to utilize research findings in an effective way, and lastly on how to reduce income disparities through realistic means for pre-health students.
